WayZ - Map for DayZ App Reviews

It gives you a map of the DayZ worlds... But it doesnt show you any detail whatsoever. You cannot zoom in at all, and it is hard to pinpoint your place. I would recommend just Alt-Tabbing to a web page rather than using this. It will not help you, unless you have no idea where things are in DayZ.

This app was very useful in navigating on the fly. The developer has since added full-screen popups, so if you need to use it quickly then youre screwed.

This map is printed directly from Dayzdb, and when you choose a map, all that shows up is an image with no customization whatsoever. Also, when youre in a need to rush, an ad pops up and completely screws you. Nice job making money off of other peoples work

Great for finding my way around without in game map

This is by far one of the easiest ways to find loot

Great app, maybe make it possibly to zoom as close as online map for offline? Then you get 5 stars! But its great the way it is now!

Cant really zoom in very far and is just pulled from DayzDB.

First of all, its stolen from the dayz wiki. Second, you cant even zoom very well. Third, I had to close about ten full screen pop up ads before I could even begin to use the map. Its not worth the time. Id rather spend the $2 on the official app and not have to deal with adds, and be able to use specialized maps. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.

I like the different maps but prefer iZurvive due to the different filters and ease of use. dayz offline is great for all the different maps but looses points for no filtering options.

They had a Dayz game for iPod

Can get buggy when zooming all the way in or all the way out, other then that its great, oh and one slight annoyance are the ad placement when you first start the app, it gives you the menu of what map to choose and then sticks an ad right under your finger when you do, if youre using that to gain revenue please stop :( annoying as all hell, also does it when you minimize and re open the app. Other then that, great map, just needs some updating on loot/vehicle spawns from recent updates.

I know that the maps for DayZ are useful, but seriously people, some people dont actually know how to install DayZ on there computer. You have to install ArmA 2, operation arrowhead, and finally the mod itself. It would be amazing if a outgoing someone made a DayZ pocket edition. I know that sounds like a rip off of Minecraft, but I get sick of only being able to watch boring reviews. If someone actually reads this rant and decides to come through, please notify in a review.

This app is very useful, but you would think that if the developer just took the images straight off of a website, we would at least be able to zoom in more than halfway. The only reason this app is the go-to DayZ helper app is because its the only one of its kind.

There are a lot of features this could benefit from...from minor interface ones like incorporation pinch/pull to zoom to important factual ones like giving coordinates that can be cross checked against the GPS and/or game map and filtering settings for locations. All in all, its much easier to just alt-tab and use a much more detailed and user friendly map. This is for quick reference at best.
